I have the same issue with the Legion of Dawn edition. Last week it was randomly downgraded to the normal version and I could play, but it's now back to Legion of Dawn and I cannot play with the error in this thread.

@Artunias When you say it was downgraded. Do you mean that all content for that edition was changed/removed or the image you see in the EA App was changed?
Did you have EA Play at any point? If so did that expire?
The version you have cannot change unless you have EA Play and it expired, or you refunded the game and purchased a different version. @EA_Shepard It was only in the app, as far as I could tell none of the content was actually removed in the game. I have been submitting error reports for a while so maybe that temporary work around was applied to my account but then it went back...or whatever.
When Anthem launched I did have EA Play or maybe it was called something else at that point? A few months later I bought the full game, and had not had EA Play for a while when I purchased it. If I remember correctly I bought the full base game and updated to the Legion of Dawn Edition not too long after that.
So played Anthem solely through EA Play for a while at launch. That expired and I ended up purchasing the game in full and had not renewed my EA Play at any point. Let me know if I can provide additional info or clarification.

@Artunias Cool beans. So had a meeting this morning. The team is looking at making some updates. Currently, the only way to get it changes now is to have live support make updates on their end, or wait for the team to make the updates on the backend. Not entirely sure when specifically that will happen though.
What edition is supposed to come with EA Play, is it the Legion of Dawn of Edition or Standard? It shows Legion of Dawn for me.

@AZNPCGamer Ea Play Pro includes all of the content for the game so you would get the Legion of Dawn edition. The image for the game may show just base game, but under manage addons you will see the bonus content.
Ah, I just have the base EA Play that came with GamePass, so then I should only see Anthem Standard I'm guessing.
I think it's definitely something getting confused as to which version I own. I have had EA Play through Game Pass, but had already bought Anthem before that. I didn't buy the Legion of Dawn edition, but the app says that I own it.
When I go to the Add-ons page, it shows that I can still purchase the LoD add-on, presumably because I don't own it.
Hopefully whatever update is made can reset the ownership details and allow me to launch the game!

Hey Everyone,
The team is aware of the issue and what is happening. They are making some updates to this that should resolve this for everyone at the same time. Apologies that this has taken longer than expected. As soon as we get an update from the team, we will post that here.
So I am in the same boat. I bought the game back when it launched and got the "Legion of Dawn" edition. My buddies just bought the game this past weekend on the EA app and they can play just fine.
At the moment if writing this, I have gone through this form and tried everything and nothing works. I had 2 chats with EA live chat and now they have removed from that option from EA help. I guess the only thing that works if getting you version of the game set to standard, but not they sill not even talk to us live anymore.
So tell me EA, how exactly are you supporting your customer base?

@FromTheWolfs As of last night the team is working on some backend things to get this updated. There I not currently a need for live support to fix this on their end as it is being resolved from the games teams side. We do have to wait a bit long I am afraid but it is currently being worked on.
Really do hope its soon, mine has not loaded since origin switched to E.A and ive tried E.A Chat 7 times with nothing working
