Re: PC Stuttering EAFC 24
@theREALstefman Is there an update on this issue, initially the game was working fine on my 4070 gtx ,240 hz but ever since the last update , it always starts lagging, stuttering randomly and after cutscenes
@theREALstefman No Nothing my friend. I gave it up last week and uninstalled the game, * ridiculous that with the 4070 ti and i9 13900, I can't play FC24!!!
I hope EA pays for this, what ever the reason is they should have been resolved it by now
@bahram2bme too bro, yesterday I saw the Title update 8 and I strongly hope that they fix the corner, cutscene lag & suttering issue after months of waiting, but they haven't done nothing with it. what a company
When is going the update be realease?
has already been published.
I guessing EA are onto this considering the amount of people it's affecting?
Used to love Fifa 23, but FC24 is pretty much unplayable for me. It's weird because it works ok for a bit, but almost every corner or other set piece the stuttering starts.
PC specs,
AMD 3800X
Nvidia 3060ti
16GB 3200MHz RAM
WD Black SN770 2TB NVMe.
Come on EA address this ongoing issue for the football fans!!
Intel 13900HX
Nvidia 4070
32RAM
Fifa 23 worked perfectly but FC 24 is a disaster... I've been playing Fifa since it was on Super Nintendo and 3DO...
But this is the worst version ever.
Even the default settings (which EA/FC 24 suggests and are very low???) don't run properly. the basic code of the game sucks
Apparently same issues now with PS5 version. Time to contact the press!
Guys its already 5 months after release and EA has never bothered to look into this issue even once! Charging 60$ for this crap every year is insane!
@Jackhughes_12121 The first release had no issue and use to play it fine in two months, they did something in the updates
Yes soon after Nvidia driver got updated the game became unstable!
It wasnt an Nvidia update, as the drivers have been updated numerous times since and didnt resolve anything. its one of the patches they released that broke everything. I think it was patch 3 or 4...as prior to that, i was getting full 120fps and no lag or stuttering....now i cant even play properly on 60fps, i have to restrict and change alot of settings to get the game to run without it feeling like its struggling. EA dont seem to be bothered about fixing this.
Remember, once upon a time, games were released without problems from the first day and did not need to be updated! I mean the time of ps3 , xbob 360 and... the situation is getting worse as we go forward, now they release games and after almost a year maybe you can experience them without any problems!
I've been messing around with the Nvidia Control panel and have found some settings that appear to cure the issue. YMMV, but these are working for me, gameplay is 100% better, no stutters whatsoever after a corner, long ball, or throw-in. I've now played for 4-5 games consecutively the last couple of nights and I'm at last happy with the way it's running.
PC specs,
Ryzen 7 3800X
RTX 3060Ti
AsRock B450M Steel Legend mainboard
16GB 3200MHz memory
WD Black SN770 2TB NVMe
The monitor is a fairly old 60Hz Ultra-wide screen with a native resolution of 3440x1440.
I'm running driver version 546.65, which is the game ready revision before the update for the 4070ti super. It's worth adding that I'm also starting the game in windowed mode and then using the Windows+enter key to enter full screen once loaded into the game.
In-game settings are as follows.
Thanks for your effort @coupe_69 but that doesn't change s*** for me unfortunately.
@Evolution1895 Yeah, mine has not changed, it's smoother in the menu now but the game is the same, and maybe even a little worse in the corners
@coupe_69 I hope you understood me right, that wasn't meant to sound mean, I really appreciate your effort in trying things!! ❤️ I am just mad at EA.
It is time that the developers start to fix that thing, bc I have a 70€ game that I can't play anymore.
Div rivals and pro clubs still feel fine with slight stutter but Champions finals feel so laggy all the time, there is input lag too. The game is utter garbage!
@Evolution1895 Absolutely no problems at all here! 🙂 I am also mad that EA can't be bothered to address this issue which is clearly being experienced by LOTS of fed-up customers.
Anyway, after two nights of it not stuttering using those settings I went on last night and experienced a complete stutter fest! So, suffice to say those settings haven't worked. However, the only thing I did different last night from the previous two nights was instead of booting up the PC and starting the game straight away I opened a browser up and surfed the internet for 15-20 minutes. I've since reset the Nvidia settings back to default and tonight I played the game as soon as the PC booted up, and lo and behold I've had no stuttering over five games. I'm going to try that method again for the next few nights and will report back.
Another title update and still no workaorund. Great job, EA!
