Champions League Table Issue

There’s an issue with the placements of teams in the Champions League Group Stage tables. As seen in the image attached, Manchester United should be in 2nd place, above Galatasaray on GD (Goal Difference). It’s an irritating issue because that could be the difference between knockout stages or Europa League.

    Ah my bad. I had always thought it was determined off who had the higher goal difference. Thanks for the clarification. I ended up topping the group in the final game anyway 🤣

    Hi @BigBazzle-_-, as for the regulations of the Uefa Champions League, if two or more teams are equal on points on completion of the group matches, the following criteria are applied in the order given to determine their rankings:

    1. higher number of points obtained in the group matches played among the teams in question;

    2. superior goal difference from the group matches played among the teams in question;

    3. higher number of goals scored in the group matches played among the teams in question.

    In your case, I can see that you lost 3-0 against Galatasaray; check if you won for 3 or more goals of difference. If not, That table is correct.
