Re: Can’t connect to EA servers

Hello @Sebban89 

Let's run through the following steps to clear this up for you:

  • Please run through the connection guide here as well as the steps from Xbox 
  • Change your DNS settings (You can use the public google DNS primary: 8.8.8.8, secondary: 8.8.4.4, unless there is a different DNS you would rather use) 
  • Try removing and re-adding your gamertag from your Xbox
  • Check that you have an open NAT type on your console 

If these steps don't help, please run the Connection Quality Report and attach the results to your post so we can investigate further.

    Thanks for replying! I have done it all and as I said it doesn’t matter. I have tried on 2 other consoles and isp.s and got the same message. But can login with no issue on my friends account.

    Here you go! Every other game works, even NHL24. But the thing is this issue always disappears from nowhere and then comes back.

    @Sebban89 

    These are network results from your console directly- I'd need you to please use the tool I've linked above for more in-depth information on your connection.

    And that’s through my phone. The Xbox is running Ethernet connection.

    Could you also attach a screenshot on the Connection Report of your recent Match Results as well please?

    Yeah sure but what’s the point when I already know it’s an account issue. Already told support several times that I can login if I switch to my friends account with zero issues. And if I switch back to mine it says servers are unavailable.

    have you been soft banned be4? I thtink EA apply whitelist mechanism so that our IP address are blocked.

    No never been banned on fc24, But the whole thing feels like a shadowban I know. And no one at support can tell me because it seems to be impossible to get in contact with a real person on EA help. The whole chat system feels AI based.

    It seems your feeling is quite right. EA set up a forum to let user help user.

    Still waiting for a reply about actual support regarding my account. Still can’t login from time to time. And I need someone at EA to look into my account. The bot live chat is useless I get the same replies all the time.
