Dynamic Potential not working for Youth Players

Platform: PS5

Game: EAFC 24

Problem: 

Dynamic Potential seems to be completely broken again. Similar to last year with FIFA 23, youth players are decreasing in Potential regardless of what season they have. I'll have players with all thumb ups in the 4 categories, have pretty decent stats and they'll still drop in Potential. Had a player drop from Potential to Be Special to showing Great Potential as soon as I simmed over to the next season. Went from having a £6 mil value at the end of the season to dropping to £3 mil as soon as I summed over to start season 2. There were no indications this would happen. His transfer value was up by 160%. 

This affected all my players. I am trying to do a youth player only career mode and all the players that were at the club either completely lost their Potential or had their potential significantly decrease. Please fix this issue. Has turned me off from playing the game at all.

    @Vicroye Unfortunately, it wasn’t addressed in the latest patch like I hoped it would. It’ll be 2-3 months before it’s addressed…and that’s assuming that they address it. Because you know, it’s not ultimate team.

    This really is a joke, the fact EA fixed this in FIFA 23 gives me hope.


    But begs the question why is it back in the latest game ?!?

    @Vicroye A little workaround that may help. On the 29th June, go to your squad hub and sort by player values before simming to end season. Make sure you don't exit your CM after viewing the values.

    I just did that and it worked. I'm shocked. Anyway, I imagine the issue is still in the game because this game was built on FIFA 23

    @Vicroye Glad it worked for you buddy. I've been using the same method since 23 too. I hope this gets some more visibility on this workaround.

    I’m preparing to be blown away if this works. Question, does their potential go up/down at all or does it all stay the same?
