Re: "Please enter registration code"

I'm inclined to agree with you since Sims was not on the list of games with this issue. Problem is that with the other issue going on, there was no way of telling which games ARE affected and which aren't. The issue definitley does seem to be fixed for Battlefield 3 but there's still a few other games that don't activate so maybe there's more to it.

I can't get any further info atm since CM are not around on the weekend.

Were you able to install the expansions ok ? Is it just the message on the launcher ? Have you been able to play with those EPs ?

  • Everything went smoothly. The game launcher launches perfectly too. When I click the "play" button that's when I get the message

Could you post a pic of the message ?

To do so, upload it to some picture sharing site and put the link here.

    That's what I thought ..

With this, EA does need to supply you with a new code. It's been there before the current issue.

There's no way of telling which game it is, but I would contact them again and tell them although the other issue is supposed to be fixed, you still have a problem and if they can give you new codes for the two new games.

Still ? Even with the issue fixed now ?

Let me try if I can get a CM in here.

  • YES. It's so aggrevating. I read around the forums and found that it is linked to a specific game sometimes. I tried and uninstalled Generations. The game now works so I now know that it's the source of the issue. Now to try to convince them that I know what I'm talking about,

  • A wonderful, sensible agent FINALLY gave me a new code (>^_^)>
