F1 24 Driver career fuel consumption from season 2 onwards

About halfway through season 2 of my driver career mode I started having fuel consumption problems and have to start my races with over 3-4 extra laps of fuel just to be able to make it to the end with about +.1 of a lap extra but this causes me to be tenths slower than my teammate even though in quali I was generally quicker… I drove for McLaren in seasons 2 and 3 and we were the best car by a bigger margin than red Bull were in 2023 but I was struggling to beat the other teams due to this issue… tracks I would normally be able to build a comfortable gap at I was struggling to even keep up with others and not being able to get a decent exit which causes me to be deploying my ers when I don’t want to and draining it quicker than I should… in practice and quali the fuel consumption is fine and I can use a normal amount but in sprint races and main races I have this problem every race… I even moved from McLaren to Ferrari and I am continuing to have this problem every race… this problem is making career mode unplayable and unenjoyable… I am also aware that I am not the only person that has had this problem
