Not sure this is a bug! Ability to use "Overtake" on Qualifying

Summarize your bug I have the ability to use the "Overtake" button when I am qualifying. Not sure if this is intentional or not since on the previous game installments this was not possible. I think it also has an unwanted AI effect, since they seem to be extremely fast on Qualifying times. Need to check if the AI is leveraging this if it is a bug

Which area is the bug/glitch in? Single Player
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? 1. Start qualifying 2. Star by driving out OR Flying Lap 3. Open your MFD and check the "Hotlap" setting is selected on your ERS setting 3. While driving observe hos the "Overtake" button is enabled 4. Press "Overtake" 5. The car is using more battery while still using the "Hotlap" setting on the ERS
What happens when the bug occurs? The driver can use the "Overtake" button to go fast in qualifying I think the AI drivers are also leveraging this bug to log faster times
What do you expect to see? IF it a bug, I expect the "Overtake" button to not be available during qualifying

Yes and No. While real F1 teams can't officially use an overtake button in qualifying, they do use power mapping to change how much ERS is deployed at various parts of the circuit. One of the Sr. Game designers goes over this in detail in post #40 in the thread below if you're interested.

The TLDR is that the overtake button a quick and simple solution to allow the player to manually mimic the idea of power mapping while a long-term solution is developed with the 2026 regulations in mind.
