If EA were more serious about getting the cheaters weeded out, then it would be easy for them to build in a player reporting system in the BFx game as Sony already have in the Community and Messenger area. Right clicking the player/or message and you report directly the situation. You then also have the screenshot and game/activity attached automatically.
EA could add that feature e.g. to the player score card, where all players in game are listed.
Highlight the player in question and submit the report complaint, where you can then have a screen both to describe your complaint and ability to attach video-recording or a clear screenshot as proof of the cheating.
Aka a screenshot of the kill-cam of the wall glitcher sitting up in the corner ceiling at the elevators at B-flag on the Metro map.
Simple really.
Another question that has to be brought up is ofcourse why EA have not updated several of their maps, to close these stupid glitch/holes, making it impossible anyway to glitch on them. Some of those map errors were found already back in BF3 and they were still there transferred into the BF4 world and left with no fix despite literally thousands of glitchers being reported for cheating by using them...
So one player allowed to destroy the pleasure of the multiplayer game for 63 other players, round after round after round.
This can be done better next time around if there is a will to fix it!
Please........?

Think you might be in the wrong forums, this is the reporting guide from Apex: Legends, not the Battliefield series.
However your point about PS4 is interesting, I don't have a PS4 myself so know little about the console, but certainly with the current Gen consoles - making use of the DVR functions for evidence seems a no, brainier if devs, or the platform owners themselves can make use of this. As a quick win on PC could we have a button on the match summary that opens up your browser with the anti cheat form? Something like this, maybe??:
I've put a ring around what i've changed, just in case you're fooled by my impeccable photoshop skills 😃
I like the idea of report button systems...
....but they never work when run by players. Most reports are then from people who got mad they were killed, or for some other wrong reason, not because someone was cheating.
If you want players who are doing well to be banned, make a report button system. Otherwise leave it to screen shots and submitting it under the already existing guidelines.
Having to go through so many loops to report is stupid... I have to find a name (the guy i saw aimbotting todays name was something like IlIIIIlllllIIII (i's and L's)... it was a duo with the same name...
i feel like a rejoin and a report option shouldnt be this hard. again ive only seen like 1-2 cheaters in total so its not a huge thing, but it is irritating dying to that sort of stuff
Yeah @theWonderChris , the example using BF4 on PS4 was just an example, as the mechanics about how to report a cheater could be implemented using the same functionality no matter the game or platform we are on. All our platforms support both screen capture and video capture, so its just to use that in the reporting function. Simple and instantly working really!
At least SONY got that thing right!
And they do timely follow-up on complaints you report in to them, so consequences are there!
there is no system about reporting a player , i myself got into such team 2 times where a guy (rank 50 + ) has auto shot + speed hack .
Pretty damn sure that Easy Anti cheat is totally fail . you guys should hire another 3rd party anti cheat system.
guess youre not going to address the hackers in the game? just going to let them free roam? should we all download the software to be on a level playing field?
thanks to the twitch streamers your game has taken off yet there is zero development happening on your end. oh i can fill out a report? well what good is that with no replay?
There is currently no way to report player in-game, however you can still report them here.
Reporting players can help the anti-cheat finding how to counter act cheating and detecting them before they are able to use them.I know this sounds a bit strange but if players help the anti cheat, it can improve the fair play as cheaters will get banned sooner.
Hi @theWonderChris , yes I know that Apex is different compared to BF4, but the generic issue on reporting cheats to EA - AND GETTING THOSE CHEATS OFF THE GRID - is exactly the same problem across all multiplayer games in their arsenal. Btw, the cheat reporting function that you described above is not correct for the PS4 platform. It is correct that you can easily report any player from the game or messaging in this way, BUT! All those reports are going straight to SONY, not to EA.
And SONY only handles any reports on players that are related to code of conduct for their PSN platform. Aka, hate speech, sexual discrimination, profanity, etc. They are not able to handle any report coming in related to aka a wall glitcher in an EA game you play and have met that cheat.
That is why I propose that EA need absolutely to implement a function, so while in midgame you can go to the scoreboard and right click (or R3) on that players name to report that player to EA Support. Using same methodology as SONY has implemented well for the PS4 in general. So very easy and quick to do, by help of pre-set reporting issue choices and links to how to attach screenshot or videofeed to you report. And please notice, you also get a warning from SONY that if the reporting of that other player shows to be 'faked' or dishonest in any way, you risk yourself a penalty. (aka, 1 day, 1 week, 1 month or 1 year off the game grid!)
This works extremely well for SONY. They are serious about it. Timely responses and you see the reported players are gone from PSN (and thereby also any online activity) very shortly after your reporting.
Again, SONY are not handling in game cheats. EA needs to do this for their own games.
In total I have a list of around 1200 wall glitchers on BF4. Had screenshots of every single one of them. Mainly from other gamers sending them to me when on my server, as been admin since launch of BF4 on popular servers, so it all adds up... ;o)
Another real bad thing from EA is that the player ban list in the game is only able to handle 100 banned players. So when it is full, you need to remove some of the oldest entrants on that list. With the result those cheats will be coming back and starting all over again. This is simply too poor from EA that they do not support us better to get rid of those cheats that destroy the pleasure of EA gaming for so many other respectful players!
IF every gamer would use this option wisely...it would be a good Idea. BUT we all know thats is not true! :P
In the end too many will use it out of frustration and then it will become so much work for the support...that they dont want to check all of the reports.
As i said in my own topic. Use a better AC-Software!! Easy "Anti" Cheat is the most worse to use :D Better use Battleeye. Its more expensive, but its woth it, my dear def´s.
Well..and the few cheaters that still remaim...because there always will be some with enough money to buys privat-hax..they can be reported as usual here with video or without. And the support has enough time to check them out.
Went to checkout Battleye and this was literally the splash message from their home page:
"Hey PUBG players, due to a glitch in our system we have banned a bunch of innocent players within the past hour"
Also checking out their list of games I'd hardly consider them the 'gold standard' of anti-cheat services, of the one's i know - ARMA, H1Z1, Day-Z, PUBG, Fortnite, Ark, Planetside all have cheater problems. I've also seen lots of footage of Siege hacks/cheats - but i'm not close enough to the game to know if these are 1 offs or if it's a big problem.
Sure you still can cheat even with Battleeye. But the difference is that its by far more difficult do work around battleeye. Also its much better in detecting cheaters.
There are skilled ppl who work on new hacks everyday..but those against battleeye are much more expensive 😉
Since Planetside uses Battleeye, the number of cheaters have lowered alot. I play PS2 for a long time now thats why i know that for sure.
Every few month then a new cheat comes out..the number raises..and after a banwave everything is better again, for a few months at least.
In general i dont understand, why developers and publishers do not work more against those ppl who design cheats. Its so easy to find them in the internet. Arent they interested in keeping their games free from cheats??
Sometimes i have that feeling, althou im sure it isnt like that.
Why not make lifetime bans for cheating? And not only from one game, ban them from origin are whatever completely and give them a big fine to pay because its scam!
Put those who design cheats to jail, cuz its seduction to scam
I know, i guess its not that easy. But in the end so many other things they realize, but this cheater thing is getting worse and more worse every year. Time to realize something in that matter!! 🙂
So true,
Unfortunately EA choses to ignore cheaters and let them play, it's like talking to a wall, they say people don't report players and thats why.. bullshi. Not seen any action on Apex against cheaters since it's come out. In game reporting system ? NO CHANCE, by the time you manage to find the person that was cheating ur in another game and then ur back with them next game and an aimer/wallhacker kils 67 people because nobody knows how to spell *Ar{009{..Masster*Ki$* to find the person that was cheating in the game in first place, even if u manage to report them.... thank you for ur report.. good bye..
They will never realise because no matter what forum Admins might convince you of "fair play to them, they are paid to do so don't blame them for having to spew corrupted EA logic" of make game take mone go away. Sick and tired of it..Is there anywhere where you can report a game industry for corruption so they do like an inside audit of what who is accutaly being paid for what ? Becaue it looks like EA is just a bunch of mountain goats being paid for traffic lights being put up on sky desert highways, while blind folded in a mine field under strickt regulations against blind folds made out of cotton, produced by skinny small astro reptiilans fed by snails on cocain who only get half a wage of asparagus because their bosses told them their product is good..FFS boycot EA.. *right next game of apex*

China cheaters everywhere, every game. EVERY SINGLE MATCH!
Just build an individual China server and lock them there, can't you?
Step 1: Start charging 50 dollars for the game on every NEW Origin account that gets made after a specific date, starting in June for example.
See if they are inclined make new accounts for cheating after that. EZ FIX.
Step 2: Add report system and an Overwatch system like in CS GO.
Step 3: Make hardware bans instead of account bans.
There are a million ways to ban cheaters but I'll tell you why they don't implement any. It's because they are probably selling cheats for their own game on other non-affiliated websites, banning the players after some time has passed and reselling another batch of cheats. You can see the circle and the money making machine in a FREE to play game these days.
talk to the cheaters when they are on your team there are companies in china that are paying people to cheat. really interesting what is going on. There is one group that is a paid serves for badges and another entity is just paying them probably corporate sabotage. maybe epic games?.

From Respawn's 3.8.2019 check-in:
CHEATERS
As of today we’ve banned over 355K players on PC through Easy-Anti-Cheat. The service works but the fight against cheaters is an ongoing war that we’ll need to continue to adapt to and be very vigilant about fighting. We take cheating very seriously and care deeply about the health of Apex Legends for all players.
We are working on improvements to combat cheaters and we’re going to have to be pretty secretive about our plans. Cheaters are crafty and we don’t want them to see us coming. With that said, we can share some high levels things we’re doing:
-
We are reaching out and working directly with experts, both within and outside of EA, in this area that we can learn from.
-
Scaling up our anti-cheat team so we have more dedicated resources.
-
We are adding a report feature on PC to report cheaters in game that goes directly to Easy-Anti-Cheat.

- ADD Battle Eye please ?
Fortnite's Reporting is #1. Follow it, Respawn.

- Unfortunately it is hopeless ...
Now an admin arrives and removes the link because according to the enlightened policy of EA you are inciting cheating.
If we consider the amount of money that goes around the cheats, I remember they are at 25 - 30 $ a month, why would EA have to intervene?
Assuming they have the necessary technical skills, which is now obvious, they also know all the cheaters that don't have them, in fact they use the cheats without problems.
All honest EA players get in peace that Apex has not been made for them but only for cheaters, so let the cheaters their new toy kindly packaged by EA and if possible forget about all the times in this forum you have read an admin write that every report is taken seriously and carefully evaluated, they are all crap, in fact take the alert read it evaluate it and then do nothing because they have no evidence to act and your report is trashed.
Good day to all and I add that in this forum they actively write Apex cheaters who complain because they have broken through lvl 100 or because they want to play the only mode, which in the team the companions get in the way, so he uses wallhack and aimbot. I would pay for this game if it means getting the hackers out.
