Do you mean the period around Christmas/New year? Because that was the sweatiest time in the history of casual modes. Every of my games were like high diamond/Predator-ranked. I believe the clip that @dlpaulson12 posted was from exactly that period of time and that was AWFUL.

But now a days, I really feel like the casual matchmaking is quite soft so I just dont understand what people are complaining about. It just seems to me that some Gold rank skilled players are pissed they arent the best in their lobbies... But they should be since they are only gold! Thats how I see casual game works; a big melting pot of players taken randomly from the entire skill distribution. If you want to only compete vs people around your same skill level, then play ranked.

Also, most SBMM complainer contradicts themselves.... Just think about this for a second: many people on this forum complains that their casual games always are soooo unfairly sweaty, totally stacked with the best players in the world. But as same time, many people on this forum also complains that their two randoms always are total noobs that cant play this game... Now add these two things together.........

@Babbediboopi Depends on which region you in. Low traffic can easily paired you with high/low skills player. Some region is in all time low due to the decline of player.

Another problem with this game is the lack of option for strictly solo que. No matter how good you or the random player is, the teamwork and coordination would never be as good as a group of 3 player who been playing together since day 1.

Still.. the point is... it was normal lobby, not rank. If player want to be sweaty, they can just go rank. The problem with current normal lobby is the lack of skill distribution. Rather than meeting a wide range of player with difference in skill performances, all you ever met is skilled player.
