You could pretty much effortlessly hip-fire spray close-range with devo and the other guy had no chance even if he had shotgun.

Wingman takes skill, R-301 is overrated. The best gun you can use is Havok, but you need to spend months mastering the recoil. If you dont have a Turbo-charger for it you just need Flatline or SMG as secondary to cover that close-mid range which you wouldnt be able with shotgun. EVERYONE uses R-301 not because its good, but because its easy.

What I dont really understand is L-Star nerf. By my opinion this poor thing needed some buffs instead. I met maybe 4 players with L-Star with my 900 hours in game...

    @Awhoo_Thunder All hip fire is broken in this game. But the laundry list of nerfs to this gun was unnecessary. I could see like one or two but not all of them. Its just extra for no reason.

    Everyone uses the R301 because its easy therefore makes it good. Lol. Not sure how they aren't synonymous.

    And yes, I agree with the L-Star.. That poor thing like never gets used

    @Awhoo_Thunder Devo not that good lol. If you hear it, all you need to do is play cover and you'll more than usually beat the Devo user. Most of the times that I've seen streamers/preds complain about Devo, they ran out into the open in front of the enemy.

    Just use Havok and forget about Devo, Devo was always a waste of Turbo-charger anyway.

    The amount of people I mid-long range one-clipped with Havok is exponentially higher than with R-301. :D

    Flatline has awful bullet velocity and R-301 cant deal that much dmg in one clip.

    Yesterday I almost one-clipped two red shields at mid-range (one down, second broken).

    Just spend some time in firing range with it, or use it if the Control mode goes back.

    Once you will realize the fact that its the best gun u can have and you wont care about devo nerfs, R-301s or Wingmans anymore. 🙂

    I use it even without TC and mostly dont really care about that or other weapons.

    I mean its nice to have CAR SMG with it, but its not that necessary whn I thin kabout it. :D

    In short the nerf to LMGs makes Rampart more of viable choice. She is just that much better with them now. Want to use LMGs use Rampart. That's what EA wants. They are trying to change up the meta and I think that's good.
