@Tiff812 Is just a specific save broken now or also if you try renaming the user folder and create a new save game (for testing) ?

@crinrict I have two save files added in (rest have been taken out and backed up). One is before reinstalling the games (I have two Copperdales and two san sequoias) and one is after (I no longer have duplicates but I keep getting kicked out of game).Only the second will not let me play as a family

Do you have any LastException files in your documents folder ?
Best is to delete the ones you have, then trigger the error and check if new ones are created.

I can edit lots in build mode but every time i try to play as a family, inclduing travel/making a new one, I am sent back to the map. I do not get an error code.
I also retried the duplicate world fix as I did last time thinking I did something wrong. However, now I can't even access the family in step 6 to save as (per this list https://sims4.crinrict.com/eng/2022/06/world-appears-twice-on-world-map/). I tried to go through the save in world view but it did not work.
Also want to add that after step 4, along with missing content warning, I get an additional warning in world map that says I am missing data.
I have taken out the mods and deleted the last exception file, but still no luck
Update: Somehow was able to solve the San Seqouia double world/rental unit issue and am able to play there! Had to do the doble world troublshooting one at a time.
However, still getting the kick out issue when trying to fix Copperdale
@crinrict yes, I do! Deleted the old files and new ones come up.

- @Tiff812 So I did some testing on your save and I'm afraid, removing the duplicate world corrupts the save game. I tried a few things but I don't know what exactly is happening and why the game corrupts.
My suggestion is to go back to your save with the double world and play like maybe a few Sims week with it, then try removing again. It could also be that simply removing that particular pack is not working cause there's to many tie-ins if you played a save with HSY installed, especially if you have many teens.
At this point, the only proper solution is to move everyone to a new save game which of course has a lot of downsides but I simply don't have another solution.
