Re: Gun Recoil

@littlxrCheating on console is not at all "rare". I can give several examples from multiple games.

Nintendo's Splatoon Game - A player hacked their character, to where they were able to play as a non-player character. (An "Octoling" when everyone else were "Inklings") Players who have this player load into their lobby post match, would have their game soft-locked as the console goes "WAIT! THAT CHARATER ISN'T ALLOWED!" (Wii U)

I've seen videos of players using mods to mess around with Wind Waker, Skyward Sword, Ocarina of Time, etc. (again Game Cube/Wii U games, but still)

Games on PS and Xbox also have people hacking the games to do stuff like spawn enemies, mess with noteclips, and other game breaking things.

Nintendo even went as far as to lock up the Switch to where users couldn't just load anything onto the console via usb/sd/microsd drives/cards and they also blocked free use of the web browser. Since people can load stuff on the Wii U and 3DS to download things to cheat with.

People can say hacking consoles isn't common all they want, but the truth is, it's pretty common. Most of the "cheats" is by using drives/sd cards with the hacked code on it, plugging it into the system, and running it, or using 3rd party devices such as a mouse/keyboard to use more scripts to cheat.

Bottom line: More and more people seem to be cheating this season, and it has gotten pretty bad with the 0 recoil nonsense. People tell me "the R99 doesn't have recoil!" But, when I'm in the firing range, and try to shoot a distant target, the gun has to be controlled to hit every shot, even with a gold stabilizer. I get maybe 80% of the bullets to hit a target, but nothing is compared to the mass-lasering people been doing. (You know it's bad, when a CLOSE RANGE weapon is used as a long range weapon.)

I know I've listed other consoles when Apex isn't out on the Switch yet, but my point is the fact that any console or device can be hacked, and I'm not about to go google what hacks exists.

Other key points is that with at least Nintendo consoles, people use "homebrew" or something like that to modify the console's themes and game icons. Nintendo tried to prevent this, but just like getting out of bounds in firing range, it's not that easy. There's "roms" of Gameboy, DS (even DSI/3DS), Wii/U, Switch, Xbox, PS(Mini, 1/2/3), Gamecube, <insert old 90's console here>. Roms are basically games "stripped" from the disk or cartage it was on, to where people can use emulators to run the games on a PC or whatever happens to be running an emulator, like a phone. People jail break their phones as well.

No matter the device, there's someone who "hacked" it in one way or another.
