@CanadianGamer52 You could try resetting the lot. Did you try replacing the bed? It's possible the bed is in use by a sim that is no longer there and now the game thinks the bed is occupied when it is not. A mod like Nraas overwatch may reset everything in one sim day.

Try this before you go bulldozing and replacing the whole lot, or even the beds.
Press CTRL+SHIFT+C all at the same time
Type TESTINGCHEATS ON
Press ENTER
SHIFT+CLICK on the beds that are not usable.
Choose RESET OBJECT
Click back in the white cheat console that is still at the top of the screen
Type TESTINGCHEATS OFF
Press ENTER
Press ESC to close the cheat console.
See if the beds work now, if not sell them and try new beds, then if that fails, try moving the sims out to another lot then, back to that one.

I tried all that and it didn't fix the problem. The sim would still cancel the sleep action from the queue of actions when I click on the bed and select the sleep action. However when I move my sims to an empty house that's already in one of the worlds, there isn't an issue with getting the sims to sleep in the bed and that's not good because I obviously chose to use a house from the gallery because I liked the design that someone else made instead of the ones already available in-game which makes it unfortunate that this issue is happening to begin with.

I would try selling the beds and moving ALL of the objects in the bedrooms to family inventory, then re doing the bedroom with a new bed and, placing the rest of the objects back as far as possible WITHOUT using MoveObjectsOn. That would insure nothing is blocking the path to the beds.

I forgot to mention in my initially post that I've also tried selling the beds and buying new beds. I've also definitely made sure that there wasn't any objects like nightstands, couches, bookshelves, etc. that are immediately beside the bed on both sides of the bed and still I can't get them to sleep in the bed in the custom house. So, for now, until I can find a fix for the issue, I have temporarily moved them into one of the ready made houses that was already in one of the worlds. Not ideal but that will have to do for now.

Do you have a link, or the creator's name and lot name of the house? I'd like to check it in my game just to be sure it really is that lot and, see if it can be fixed.

Here's the link to the house that I was referring to. https://www.thesims.com/gallery/02D3016F7CED11E68BDAF7029172F49B

@CanadianGamer52 Solved and house fixed, you can use it easily. See the pictures, all you need to do is move that one wall I marked in the pictures out one square. The stairs were blocked, not the beds. As you can see my sim happily sleeps in either bed. Moving the wall does send the black bed, patio table and 2 chairs to family inventory, but that's easy to put back in place.
@DarkAmaranth1966 I tried moving the wall out one square as you had illustrated with the screenshot and it solved the problem Thanks for your help.

I'm glad that works for you. It is a nice house, just needed a slight adjustment is all. Still odd, normally you can place walls at the end of stair like that but, I think because it's actually the wall of a half gabled roof, the game didn't like it so close to the stairs.

It is a nice house for sure and it's slightly surprising that the person who designed the house overlooked that minor flaw that prevented the Sims from reaching the 2nd floor of the house. I didn't even notice that too until you placed it in your game to test it out and discovered the minor design flaw.
Found a way to create the problem and to solve it as well.
Problem, I have 4 sims, 3 double beds.
after making them wohoo, i send them to their "correct" bed (they did not used the assigned one for some reason and was empty).
After that the sim on that bed was unable to use that one or the one being really used.
So that is the bug. (slecting sleep in other bed while the first is being used, then the first gets compromized)
Solution, go to "construction mode" move the bed to inventory. (my both sims that where in other bed wake up as if their bed where removed)
Place the same bed in the same spot again, go back to normal mode.
All worked as it should.
Must admit this bug is really simple to create. specially when the sims do not use their asignated positions. (also speaking of that some sims should be able to have more than one assigned one)
