True I guess because of it not being an apartment but I seem to have an issue with a specific house called the light house in the world that comes with the expansion of Sims 4 pets. I've done a few gigs after this one to see where the issue is and they've both been successful and my sim even got promoted so I'm sure that I didn't mess up the first gig because I've been doing the same thing.
I don't have any mods due to constant game updates I don't have the energy to manually keep a bunch of mods up to date.
Anyway I just purchased the decorate pack, created a new sim, joined the career and set up my first gig. So the next sim day at 9 am the pop up showed and I said go to work joining her and not sending her alone.
The loading screen passes without issues, I could click on the door and say "knock on door" but she didn't do anything other than cancel the action. All of a sudden she disappears into a rabbit hole saying "at work" so I canceled it because I was at the lot of the gig. Mind you the client is no where outside.
She returns and low and behold I was stuck outside the house unable to click on it anywhere, not even the door. I reset my sim but still the same.
I traveled all over which canceled the gig but now I'm unable to even visit this house.
When I load into the game again I'll check if I can go inside the house because that's the only thing I haven't tried
So far it has only been this one house that was my first gig.
I didn't cancel directly just traveled to a different lot and that seems to automatically cancel the gig even if you go back to the gig lot.
So all is good and well except now I can't visit that house at all because I can't click on it at all. This could become a problem if people living there become important down the line so this is the only unsolved problem left.
I'll be sure to update if I can visit said house again when I load my game. I am hoping that'll fix the problem because there aren't many houses or lots in each world. I might bulldoze it and add a house from the library to see if it fixes the issue if it is still an issue.
