werewolf abilities and points gone

@Frenchitx did you also try to delete the localthumbcache.package file?🤔  Sometimes it isn't enough to just remove your Mods/CC, as bits of corrupted data can be hidden int he localthumbcache.  🤨

It also can't hurt to repair the game.😉  Here is a good order of doing these things:

1) Move the Mods Folder to your desktop

2) Delete the localthumbcache.package file in the game folder.  This is found in Documents > Electronic Arts > The Sims 4.

3) Fix you game in Origin by logging in and go to Library, then right-click on The Sims 4 and choose the "Repair Game" option from the list.  Wait until Origin finishes repairing all your packs and not just the base game.

4) Now, when you turn on your game again, it will create a new mods folder that will be empty.  Check to see if your game is now working without mods/CC.

Hopefully doing this will fix your problem. 🤞 But please update us whether it does or doesn't fix your problem! 😇

This did not work for me ☹️ 

I even tried getting back an ability but next time I logged in to play even that one was wiped!! It's like the game has decided I am not allow to have any werewolf abilities anymore.

@kiwilliams , I'm sorry I couldn't get back to you sooner!  I had some real-life stuff to deal with! 

I'm very sorry that the suggestion didn't work for you.😢  Short of going back to an earlier save, I'm not sure what to do.  It is probably too late now to go back to an earlier save ,, and that isn't even going to work if you never made an earlier save version of this game file. 😓

Have you had any other instances of this happening since you last posted? 🤔
