The buttons are there but you cant press them like when you already are on the highest floor you cant press the button anymore. But in this case in Live Mode they are always like this but when i go to build mode they work just fine.
- @Everjinx1201 are they both kinds greyed out or looking normal and not working ?
Could you try switching to windowed mode and making the window a bit smaller and look if it works that way ? in Live Mode they are permanently greyed out.
Switching to windowed mode doesnt change it.
i uploaded the build. the build is called midnight sanctuary. if you need more information to find it just ask.
Thanks 🙂 I download it and managed to go through all the floors in Live mode. I placed the lot on the 40x30 empty lot in Tartosa.
Have you tried a game repair? Could it be Mod related?
really it worked for you ? 😢😢 damn ... the only mod i use is the one that prevents my sim from getting fat / gaining muscle ... i would be really surprised if that causes it ...
but thanks for taking the time and testing ... i guess i have to try different stuff now i know that it can work and the build is not broken ...

Move it to another lot and see if that helps. I vaguely remember an issue with a Newcrest lot and a staircase, maybe it is the Lot you’re on? i actually already tried that ... i also tried changing lot type to diffrent things and playing with and without ppl living there ... no luck so far ... but im gonna keep trying 🙂 ... thank you for all your help so far !!

so reinstalled the game over night and that fixed the issue. i still dont know what caused it though ....
