@Tinkabel76 Did you also delete the file called localthumbcache? And is your version of BE updated to the current one? It was fixed for that error.
@luthienrisingI did indeed. Same error. Deleted the cache, redownloaded/updated BE and I still got the "tunable_perf" error.
@Tinkabel76 BE itself isn't causing this error. (I've been using it since the update while testing other mods). Could you screenshot your Mods folder for me, please?
@luthienrising Here you are:
@Tinkabel76 Okay. Let's try some deeper clearing:
- Drag your whole Sims 4 folder from Document > Electronic Arts to your desktop.
- Launch Sims 4 and reset your Options.
- Exit and copy files out of your old Saves folder into the new Saves folder. Important: Don't just copy the old folder! You want to use the newly created folders.
- Copy only the Better Exceptions Script file into the new Mods folder.
- Launch Sims 4 to test.
@luthienrisingThat worked! Thank you so much! Can I just add all my mods back now?
Edit: The problem still persists.
@Tinkabel76 Awesome! Copy them back in in batches, and test between batches. That should help you find what's not working yet.
- @luthienrising Is it possible that BE is the problem?
@Tinkabel76 Not if you are on the current version. Consider deleting it and redownloading it from TwistedMexi's website.
@luthienrising I've done this multiple times, but I'll try again.
