Re: CC sims 4

@s0meth1ng3 I just want to get some quick clarification on a couple things. Where are you looking when you say you see your mods folder in your downloads? Are you looking at the sims 4 root folder? Also just to be sure, by checking your settings, do you mean the Other tab in Game Options, where you go to enable custom content?

@s0meth1ng3 Sometimes syncing software duplicates folders, so you'll have two called Electronic Arts > The Sims 4. What's the full file path when you use that method? Make sure that's the one you're looking at.

@luthienrising Not sure if this is what you mean but I'm looking under documents, electronic arts, sims 4, and then mods. And I've also already checked if any files are duplicated but I didn't see any.

@s0meth1ng3 What you're looking for is a duplicate entire folder, perhaps. Not files in the folder. If you ended up with a folder that got moved by a syncing program then the game made a new folder, you can have two game folders and might be putting mods in the wrong one.

Please follow the instructions for finding the address of the user folder in the Load option in the Main Menu. Copy the entire path, including everything that comes before "Documents", and post it here. We can then figure out if that's where you're looking in your folder structure or rule that kind of problem out.

Note: I may be unavailable for most of the next day.
