to elaborate, everything is fine on sims tray importer and etc for the thumbnails it is just the main game having this issue

@tuttifrooty Do you have anything like OneDrive running? I wonder if something else might be deleting localthumbcache for you... or any other cache file.
Also, since you posted in Mod & CC Issues, have you tested after removing the Mods folder and deleting localthumbcache manually, then starting the game, doing a Save As to make a test save, playing it a while, exiting, and restarting?
I removed my mods to test and tried moving stuff in again but all my sims were just black so idk, i saw someone on reddit mention that their sims weren’t showing up with cc they didn’t have when they used to and i think that’s what’s happening to me. Will try what you mentioned at the end though and see if that fixes it, i truly believe it might be because of the update since my sims never reset or showed without cc when i loaded in before.
