“Apex Legends 2.0 = HWID bans + Real Support + Role-Based Ranked” 🔥🔥
📣 Apex Legends 2.0 – What We Need as a Community
Dear Respawn / Apex Legends Dev Team,
As a long-time Apex Legends player, I wanted to share some thoughts and hopes regarding the future of the game — especially what a true “Apex Legends 2.0” could (and should) look like.
🔐 1. A Stronger Anti-Cheat System
Cheaters are killing the Ranked experience. We need: • Hardware-level bans (HWID/IP bans to stop repeat offenders) • Real-time detection and punishment • Severe penalties for boosting, smurfing, and sabotage • Apex deserves an anti-cheat system that works on the server level — like what we see in Valorant or CS2.
⚡ 2. Faster and More Transparent Support
Reporting a cheater right now feels like shouting into the void. • Give us a real-time response system or community moderation tools • Let us upload clips or match replays when submitting a report • Show clear feedback on what actions were taken after a report
🧬 3. Role-Based Ranked System
Not every player plays the same role — why should we all be ranked the same? • Let aggressive players (Wraith, Octane) be judged on damage and kill impact • Let support mains (Lifeline, Newcastle) be judged on team utility and revives • Let recon mains (Bloodhound, Vantage) be judged on info gathering and rotation
By recognizing different roles, we promote teamwork instead of solo damage farming.
🛡 4. Stricter Enforcement, Healthier Competition
Ranked should be a place of fair, intense competition — not frustration. • Enforce tougher penalties for repeat rule breakers • Improve matchmaking to avoid solo players getting matched with full premades • Consider adding regional or seasonal tournaments for top-tier players
⸻
Apex Legends 2.0 doesn’t have to mean a whole new game — it can mean a rebirth of what already makes Apex great: movement, skill, and strategy, combined with fair, honest competition.
We love this game — and with these improvements, it could be the best competitive FPS in the world.
Thank you for listening to your players.
