Won't Play Apex Legends With Tap-Strafing, Mantle (super) jump, Cross-play.
Tap-Strafing, Mantle (super) jump, cross-play have removed all interest. Respawn seems to have just given up on fixing these (engine) mechanics (even using one and/ or both in trailers).
Cross-play just ruins what little networking Apex Legends had, and I refuse to waste my time because of Unity's poor / terrible Multi-play services. I do not look at cross-play (in Apex Legends) as an accessibility feature, but more like voluntary assistance (Think Microsoft's Ambassadors).
PC lobbies had and/ or continue to have cheaters (what does one expect from a free game), so the decision seems to force cross-play to either camouflage cheaters, and/ or have them get reported by console players. Basically free security.

When players have to either use a controller and/ or use mechanics not intended to be in the game to get around just to compete, something is wrong with your game, overall.
