  • @MasterMind1023 You have the exact same buttons, feel free to use them. This does NOT need a cooldown because movement is a strong point of apex. If you can't spam 1 button while keeping a constant aim on an enemy then I suggest you practise.

Speaking of crouchspamming, there’s a weird thing you can do.
If you slidespam really fast, you can move around the same speed as sprinting, but be crouch spamming. I’m not sure if this is useful in combat, but you can try.

I used it with hold, and tapped really fast. It’s also best to use this on flat ground, but slanted downwards ground works too. (If it’s too slanted, it might temporarily prevent you from actually crouching fast enough)

I’m not sure of the exact speed, since I can’t really use the debug menu, but it feels to be around normal sprinting speed.

  • @MasterMind1023 By sweaty button mashers you mean SKILLED PLAYERS who know how to use their movement buttons and aim at you? Yea no. It takes skill to aim at someone while avoiding their opponents shots. Crouch spamming has a GREAT place in Apex. Learn how to use your controller, handling skills and character abilities or go away please. The ONLY reason that zipelines got this nerf is because it was fairly ridiculous in of itself to bounce on a zipeline and not get hit. Being a moving target for your opponent tho? That's just basic shooter. Next you'll say you want someone to not be able to wall jump over top of you and shoot you from behind.
  • @MasterMind1023 I wish they would already I spam crouch while shooting all the time BY ACCIDENT!

I have to have crouch mapped to R3 so when I shoot and accidentally press R3 while trying to control recoil it only crouches and not tries to melee mid gun fight.

    They wont do anything though.
  • @MasterMind1023 That or your aim is just bad. People crouch spam due to ppl having godly aim and also sbmm is garbage, it’s the only way lower level players stand a chance against tryharding predators.
  • @MasterMind1023 this has existed ever since shooters were made, if you are complaining about either this is your first shooter or you lack the skills to deal with it, either way get good noob
