season 26 and 27 ranked were good. great even. but then just as they do all the time, respawn manages to throw the game in the garbage for a season. dropships made ranked feel different from pubs. made it feel like positioning and ring were important. now theres no difference between ranked and pubs. and dont even get me started on the hardlight mesh. the game and maps were not designed with this feature in mind. therefore they dont work well and were not implemented well in any building. it was fun while it lasted.

    Can you give an example or say more specifically how they don't work well?

    They don't contribute to game mechanics. They're mostly placed in places that has "open" windows.

    why do you say they don't contribute to the game? You mean they are an unnecessary waste of ammo to break through them?

    It seems if you want to throw a grenade through the window, you need to first break it. If you want to climb down through a sun roof, you need to break it first. It is a simple geometry modifying mechanism, nothing more. It's like when you open or close a door, just different mechanics.
