10 and 15 kills badges

Since those two milestones are very important for all players, they should be prized with badges to show they've reached those numbers of kills (the same way that there are four different badges for damage). It's VERY frustrating when you kill 10, 15, or 19 in a "worse" scenario, and ends up getting absolutely nothing. I decided to give a try on the design of the potential new badges (image attached), just to play around with it and illustrate my suggestion in a better way. The look of those new ones helps keep the 20 kills badge's uniqueness and, at the same time, emphasizes the importance of getting 10 and 15 kills by prizing the players who reached those milestones with different - but still cool - badges.

Please add that to the game on Season 9.

@TheApexLegendNub I'm pretty sure the point is to separate us eternal noobs and low end players from those able to pull such a feat. Even I who sucks as hell can get 3 frags from a team once by luck, or get on the ring and kick some * (because all those Punch Out hours were not lost).
I prefer no badge, than "prizes for dummies".

"Prize for dummies"? 10 and 15 kills are not something easy to achieve at all, therefore such achievement needs to be rewarded. 99% of the random players I play with can barely kill 2!

  • @107737 No; because they are a feat. But you will note that they did not start the series at 500, 1000, 1500. Maybe it is that they really want it to be HARD?

@NandoRos2077: I didn't say it was easy, but again, it is not unatteignable with good skills, a platinum rank can easily dominate most lobbies of random suckers like me. And they are not rare. So starting at 5, 10, 15 would defeat the point of saying "you're an awesome badass"
  • @107737 My opinion is that this discussion is sterile. They wanted to start this badge at 20, and that makes it unique, and that's a good thing.
If 2k damage is easier than 10 kills, then that's a good surrogate.
We should not be butthurt about little things like that in the game, they are not really a problem. It is only a mere improvement for ego, but is massively less needed than improved netcode, better servers, better fist/close quarter fighting (nerfed down damages with a little faster punches so it is not so dumb compared to guns), damage tracking and better management of the queues and game modes (solo/no fill and so on), ability to play it local, too, with bots or friends.
I would be happy with only that if the game was to be forever the same after that.
Badges and cosmetics are just for the show. It doesn't motivate me. What does, is the ability to satisfy myself over kicking enemies down and winning, and this is why I play so much.
But I don't feel it is really broken at the time (apart for fist fighting), as far as balance and real game issues go (things like potato teamates and bad queues are known problems but they don't really come from "in game" design).
