2nd and 3rd option on Legend picks

Not sure if this has been suggested before, but it probably has been and was just buried among other things

It would be really nice if we had alternate picks for other legends.

Take for example, your featured character is Lifeline, but someone picked Lifeline, so the game will just auto pick another Legend for you
With alternate picks, you can set several featured characters
Maybe people will be able to see all of them when selecting you in your party or clicking your profile in your friends list in the lobby
And you'll have the option to switch out what you want as your 1st pick, 2nd pick and 3rd pick
So if your squad took 2 of your top picks (Lifeline, Pathfinder, etc), you already have a 3rd pick that you know you can play or have confidence in playing as
Other than the game auto picking for you and you've never ever played that Legend and are perhaps in an Apex Elite queue as of right now
This would also be good for people who do a quick AFK but someone took your Legend
It's really mostly for people who aren't paying attention to their screen, but happens way too much to so many others ngl (Me included)

I'd just like to add another small suggestion, which I am 100% sure has been suggested but needs to be suggested again nonetheless as it doesn't exist
A RECONNECT TO MATCH BUTTON! Especially with all these network issues and sudden crashes of games, errors or party invites suddenly pulling you out of your game and into their party when you ignore the party invite

    @hostile187 

    I like your idea of having a list of preferred Legends. It can be a bit annoying when you get a Legend you don't want for whatever reason. Maybe the Legend Selection screen could be overhauled at some point.

    On your other suggestion about a reconnect feature. This is a question which has cropped up a few times before and was addressed in a previous 'check in':

    "RECONNECT FEATURE?

    We’ve heard the suggestions from you folks asking for a reconnect to match feature. We are currently not pursuing this for a couple reasons:

    1. It opens a lot of risk for players to abuse it.
    2. We believe the resources needed to build, test, and release it are better spent focused on fixing stability issues so that the feature isn’t necessary."

    There is ranked, there are 2 seasons and still no reconnect. I just read something like this:

    Are you kidding? What kind of risks are you talking about? EVERY - SINGLE - COMPETITIVE - GAME has reconnect option but you. I just crashed in a ranked match with my friends and now i'm waiting for them in the lobby to complete the match. It's ranked, they can't simply leave the game. When you have Ranked, you need Reconnect. That simple. Telling that "it isnt necessary" is completely absurd.

    @Xynocide> I wouldnt say absurd, right perhaps... Think about it. There are several reasons to be concerned.

    Few examples:

    a) 1 player disconnects early, the rest of the team jumps somewhere, then the 1 reconnects, stranded and solo, the rest 2 guys are maybe already downed, waiting till the timer goes so they can leave a match (they are still resurrectable till final death).

    b) like in PUBG, lot's of free kills (and thus points) at the end of the ship drop, why would you want this???

    c) when you disconnect in almost any situation, EVEN when you will be super quick and reconnect back in 30s, there is very high probability you'll be already dead - as i don't see reason why you would disconnect on purpose behind cover or hiden in corner = again free XP for others - WHY?

    d)  say someone with happy interplay of coincidences disconnects hidden in middle of last circle - last 2 teams, you and enemy. You see 2 teams left, kill everyone in enemy team and then someone reconnects, so you killed second team and yet still game does not end as there is reconnected last guy, somewhere hidden... How would you react to this? I bet that it won't be described politely.

    When you are out, you ARE out. No reconnecting should be possible in Apex, especialy when it is so fast paced.

    @RandomCZ All your concerns are super easy to fix. When you get disconnected on purpose or crash or time out, you're dead and your teammates will get the banner automatically - or manually. Problem solved.

    Just give a chance for people that got disconnect not on purpose. I just want to get back to my game, doesn't matter if i'll be dead or not. I just want that chance. As i told, yesterday we were playing ranked game, we entered a combat, i killed an enemy and suddenly boom. Game just froze. My teammates won that fight and played for another 15-20 minutes and got the 5th place as i remember. If there was a reconnect option, i could reconnect as a dead member and my teammates would have my banner and try to ressurect me. No abuses. Think about it.

    So it should have to be like this:

    Player disconnects, game make him dead (box), others can loot him, teammates can grab banner. I would'nt go for automatic banner delivery, because that is abusable.

    Player is no longer counted as "playing" thus no longer accounted in "teams / players left". But when he reconnects, he should be once again accounted making counter less reliable.

    And how would you solve points? Should he get XP only for the period he played, or for the whole match?

    Should he get RP for, lets say, winning the game, when he was 5 minutes out of match, not participating towards the goal?

    Will his dead state have effect towards teams achievements, like "Wins with full team alive" etc.?

    Like I said, it's not super easy 🤔
