3 day ban for 'offensive name'

My name was a reference to an old NCSI episode meme.
And I got a 3 day ban for it.
While people use the most outrageous names and offensive names. yet they are completly fine.

How about giving me a warning instead of instantly giving me a 3 day ban.

I'm so done with this bs

    @RNM91494275 Hey there, I can assure you that no one with an offensive name is completely fine. If they do in fact have a name offensive racial or anything of the sort they do also meet the same fate. They did not single you out from the thousands of others who had horrible names it just finally caught up to you. The others are also punished knowing they had a name they might not should have used. 3 days is better than some names that land them a full out perma ban for the name they chose. I would not think to much into it just choose another name and enjoy the game. While your name in your head has a totally different stance of meaning it could mean something completely different to another.

    @RNM91494275 Use some decent name 🙂 After they switched to steam, I saw all sorts of names, and quite offensively, I'm glad they started blocking, but better a month, not 3 days.

    @RNM91494275 Someone rage-reported you or toxic-reported you. The ban-sensitivity in this game now sets your account in jeopardy so you may have to have a separate one just for Apex so that you dont lose your other games when the account with Apex gets banned unjustified and out of reasonable player judgement. They have these over sensitive TOS now, that you may make a mistake and lose all your games. I recommend other games and leaving EA.

    The outrageous names that one often sees are Steam's responsibility.  Respawn cannot regulate Steam gamer tags.  Well, I hope that they cannot, because the only alternative is that they choose not to.

    Hey @E9ine_AC  This is late, but while I agree that to be true, I think a ban just for a name that wasn't intentionally offensive is harsh. Players spent so much time and money into Apex just to be banned because the TOS was overly sensitive. I believe a warning should be put in place rather than a ban. I did some research and apparently offensive club names receive warnings instead of a ban, why is that? I was punished for my name and it was honestly not intended to offend anyone as it is a meme as well but I wouldn't think I'd get permanently banned for it. It's almost ridiculous. I've attempted to appeal my case but I was just told the usual response "You broke TOS, can't help you" deal, no mercy. I'm creating a new account but EA is not getting any of my money anymore.

    @RNM91494275 i got banned recently for offensive nickname it passed 7 days and still banned without any warning or anything never did something bad in game or was toxic and everytime i email them i get the same answers like its from bots not normal ppl quite sad cuz i enjoyed the game
