https://answers.ea.com/t5/General-Feedback/3rd-Party/td-p/9194810/page/2The only other thing I have left to say, is that I personally think you have to be within at least 50-80 meters to even see ability ultimates, as everyone knows where Lifeline, Bangalore, and Gibraltar drops their things, and where Crypto ults, etc. Gun sounds should also be reduced to less than 100 or so meters, snipers can be a little louder, but we shouldn't hear fighting from where Slum Lakes was, when we're in containment or even in the bunker.
Also, you'll think that with less things to render on our side of things, we might even have less lag issues as the server doesn't have to tell our games everything. Someone once turned up a sound setting (by a method not provided by the game), and you can hear every healing item, abilities, weapon reload, drops, player knocks, etc. being played at once. All these sounds are just quiet unless you're "near" them. No wonder why we have sound problems as well. They don't even have a proper play distance, they're just global with the volume tuned for each player. This was found out around like season 5 or 6. Don't know if they fixed it already.
