5 Things that are killing Apex Legends

I have been only playing this for a week now since I was away for the release of the game but I gonna simply list the things that I can see that the game devs need to address to retain and build on the community.

  1. Hackers- First and foremost this to me is the biggest reason the community dwindled in PUBG. Devs didn't respond and when they did it was no way near enough. I understand a report system is coming but this will not be enough as it has shown in PUBG.
  2. Ping and Servers- W need to be shown our latency and which servers we are being connected to. Lag is prominent and we would like people to play with who speak the same language.
  3. Squads Party- This one is for PC players (as I am not sure about console). Having to be "Origin Friends" before you party up with someone is damaging communities by not being able to utilize voice chats such as "Discord" without having immense amount of people on your friends list. This is a unpractical and time consuming thing to be over-looked. There is barely anyone in the OC Discord channels and I believe this is the main reason for that!
  4. Game Crashes and re-join feature- My game crashed 4 times last night each time my squad abandoned the game because I couldn't rejoin. Simple fix the crashes and add a re-join feature.
  5. Adding Content- I believe this was a huge factor in the demise of PUBG! They brought in content to try and misdirect the player base to the current problems. It didn't WORK! It was disrespectful to the players and they got jacked of it! You will gain a more loyal player base if you listen and fix the problems with the game rather than adding battle passes or new characters or whatever! WE have time for all that other stuff IF you LISTEN to the people PLAYING YOUR GAME! Otherwise that number will get less and less!

I am only writing this because I actually really love playing this game and I would love to see it last!

  • I would suggest trying console, other than a few disconnects AFTER matches I can't recall having any of the problems you mentioned on PS4

While I wouldn't exactly say PUBG has met it's "demise" or been a failure... afterall the game pulled in $250M in six months, and probably double that by now.

.. I do agree with the above criticism.

It's a bit disrespectful to players to be talking about and promoting battle passes while the smoke-disable exploit has been known for a week without any hotfix or even communicaiton confirming it's being fixed.

...when there are clearly bugs that are not getting instantly fixed, and yet the community manager is not only saying the team is not working on re-connect, but he's saying it's because "it's exploitable"... which it is not if implemented in any sane way -- as is done in lots of games.

Don't refuse to give us a common solution that helps lots of people (reconnect) and then give us complete lies about why, and be shipping monetization features at the same time. It's really just jerky.

Dude that is only on the pro go try and play this game from netherlands and on a slim it's like playing a game on a pc that 95% of the time can only manage 50 fps max just minimum requirements to play the game evry 5th time i get shot my game bugs out sounds poof gone frames back to 5 but having pro magically solves 90% of those problems why make a game available for ps4 when it can run the damn game and now also jumppads how long til the funny dances are implemented

  • Yeah you are right it hasn't met it's demise compared to other games but it has compared to itself and it's potential it had especially now that even the games original Designer is walking away from it to focus on other games. A lot of the money that was made from PUBG was accounts being banned and new ones being made. The system was and is flawed and is still losing it's playerbase which will eventually be lost all together once someone brings out a similar Battle Royale to PUBG without the hindrances of the games problems and exploits.
