A serious idea how to fix matchmaking!

Old players are complaining they are being matched with new ones and that ruins their experience - can confirm.

New players are complaining the game is not a newbie friendly and they are matched with old players and can't do much in a match - this also ruins their experience.

People are getting frustrated and this is not good for anyone.

I thought a bit about that and realized much of this is caused by the actual reset of ranks every season. You see old players need to grind the rank again and some start early, but some a bit later and when new players come to the game in the low or mid-low ranks they meet. Another case is that some people don't want to grind anymore (as the grind is ridiculous nowadays), not motivated or due to various reasons they stay at the low ranks and are constantly matched with players not in their skill range.

So - just remove the rank reset at the start of each season. Change a bit the requirements for Predator in order for them to be not point based so people can actually fall out of it and new ones achieve it and DO NOT reset the ranks anymore. That way after some time people will fall in their, relatively speaking, proper rank and will be matched with people of their skill level.

I just do not see other way. Otherwise... well honestly I don't think it is worth it to continue ruin my nerves with this experience.

    @D3loFF well, that's true but apex problems become more every season we go ahead. Seems like they really do not care. i think EA just has the power to focus on 1 game in same time and that game probably is the next battlefield . apex has too many many problems such as connection issues fps drop etc. it just becoming worst. i love this game but i am disappointed about it's publisher and developer.

    @D3loFF They actually did the complete opposite by even adding a rank reset in the middle of the season, just so people need to grind more to get a decent rank. I'm never doing ranked again because the resets happen too fast and I'm not investing a * ton of time into something I will lose after only a few weeks.

    IMO: Unless you're going for master/predator, there's absolutely no point in playing ranked.
