Correction: this system turns rage quitters away from the their game, but might instead keep some other players that would have left due to all rage quitters.
Not that I care too much because I would never play ranked with randoms, but this whole debate really amuses me. Before, everyone kept spamming this forum about all rage quitters and how they should be punished and now, all those rager quitters spam this forum how unfair the punishment is hahah

@BabbediboopiHmmm... getting there but I’m more of an ‘ohhh this guy wasted 2 clips on an enemy I already injured moments before I got downed, so there’s no hope’ quitter... the annoyance is there when I do the fighting and they (my teammates) do the running/looting because they apparently didn’t see the pinging or hear an enemy near us...
and I don’t do ranked just to be clear ^.^

Heheh same. I always leave in normal when I die if my randoms havent done anything special to make me like them more than just the average random. The permission to leave in normal is actually the remedy for most game related rage tbh, and likewise I dont care at all if my randoms leave, in fact I expect it. Respawn has designed the game like this; the incentives to stay in a normal casual game rather than just jump into a new game with new possibilities are just to weak.
Ranked is another think however since its supposed to be competitive, but as I said before; I would never play ranked with randoms =)
