If you get D4 and play late at night or in the morning, you'll be playing in the master/pred lobby. I don't recommend it :)

Yes, I know that matchmaking in this game is all over the place. But how is it even a little stretch for a player at the top of platinum to be facing players in diamond? If you made it to plat then you already know that the average match can span half the skill range of the player base, whatever the stated rank spread may be. And even the stated spread is usually pretty big, not uncommonly spanning two or even three different tiers. ???
