Abandon PenaltyThe new ranked punishments are absolutely insane let me elaborate, one teammate is alive, swarmed by 3 enemies aswell as being on 25 HP. "Me" on autopilot goes "go next" then.... death recap / rating tab -72 (Platinum) which i don't mind really just the Cheery on top of the cake that is 45:00 minutes downtime (Aim Practice/Casual/Ranked) downtime goes 5/20/45, so this wasn't the first time this happened i the other two times where similar occasions.-Fritzlimoorange

Just wait for the game to say Squad Eliminated people leaving early. I still have been seeing people rage quit as soon as they die or leaving while either heading to the banner or respawn beacon im glad my squad stayed earlier we were in the final 3 so i just grabbed their banners and went to respawn beacon there was literally trash for gear left not many weps or ammo/heals but we still won XD. There was a time last week as soon as we dropped into the geyser area both squadmates just instantly died so i got weps and actually managed to outplay the squad that was there and then my teammates left when i grabbed the banners... literally i just grabbed them and seconds later before i could head to a respawn they both left why?

Thanks for abandon penalty, think so it's the best way to put me back in the real life and share time with family, Hope so eventually quit at all of this trash 🙂

i got a penalty because the game showed a third person didnt join so i backed out and wasnt warned by the game and i got a 20 min penalty.... whats up EA? thats *.

@okells You are still expected to play with your 2nd person until you both die Im assuming its still a penalty but not a RP penalty with loss forgiveness since there was no 3rd person

What I don't understand is if your on a squad of three two of you die and the third just camps hiding and your banners time out why do you have to wait around 20 min while he hides on the outside of the circle behind a rock. This should be addressed I play for enjoyment not to be stuck after timing out. I understand a penalty for rage quitting but quiting because your timed out and cannot be respawned is dumb. Shouldn't have to wait from three minutes in for min 20 of hiding because the teammate didn't want to fight to begin with

@Yadigbeefstick you don’t get the penalty when your respawn timer times out, plus they introduced new mechanics when even if your teammates grab your banner in time but don’t respawn you within (i think) 2 minutes you’re free to leave the game without penalty

Ohh just gotta wait 2 minutes and waste 2 minutes of my time watching a team full of idiots who got their rank on position and not skill, that's not annoying at all.
Ranked sucks it's gotta be the worst ranking system I have ever experienced.
