Abandon Penalty

I agree that the Abandon Penalty needs to be improved. I've had situations like others have described where either it's one player and they camp for 20 minutes or I've even had teams tease me by going up to the respawn beacon but not revive me. There should be some logic in the game to like:

- If the player hasn't been respawned within 5 minutes, you can leave without penalty

- If the team had the opportunity to respawn the fallen teammate (detect close to respawn beacon) but didn't, you can leave without penalty

I also agree that this is supposed to help with rage quitters but it's insufferable when you can't leave because your teammates are the ones being unethical. 

I left an arena match because my two teammates were toxic and yet I get the penalty. First match I've left in a long time. Your 10 minute time out is a nice idea for habitual abusers but there are some legit reasons players leave a match. 

Abandon Penalty is complete crap! Nobody should be PENALIZED for leaving any match! PERIOD! Someone needs to smack these developers upside their heads!

Ya, like abandon the abandon penalty!!!! 

I was penalized for two abandonings in the same game and the issue was the server not my internet. Said server shutdown due to cloud. Then I was penalized for your servers going down for 20 mins. Idk if this was a bug but obv it was not my problem

They need to stop * with our rank when their * servers crash. how about you work a bit harder on getting us back in the * match EA, instead of penalizing us rank and a 10 minute wait because YOUR * SERVERS aren't working properly? novel idea, I'm sure but you'll figure it out. 

They won’t address anything unless you are an influential streamer or play in leagues. EA doesn’t care about the consumer cause they know we’ll never leave. I wish they would make it to where you have to actually quit to get abandonment penalties. If their server boots me or my internet goes down I get penalties. I’ve never quit a ranked match early since I’ve been playing yet I’ve had many penalties.
