About Heirlooms that were received prior to System Override. (Not Toxic)
As you may know Respawn introduced Heirloom Shards in the System Override update (Season 4)
There were 4 available Heirlooms before the Heirloom Shards were introduced and a week before the update I got Wraith's Heirloom and honestly was pretty upset about it knowing I wouldn't get another one for a very long time as I don't play Wraith and don't like her (many do but I don't)
When they introduced Heirloom Shards I thought people like us would get some sort of compensation but nada we got pretty much nothing
I am still hopeful that Respawn would do something about this.
Now people claim that this isn't a good financial move, but knowing that every legend has their respective Heirlooms, people would still look for more Heirlooms for different legends + the amount of players who would use such a feature are relatively low, also considering the 7 days time period.
Since Apex Legends is a game that makes meta changes every season, and considering how boring it is to play a single legend, people would still look for more Heirlooms.
As more players are pleased with how they are treated they could even spend more money on the game whether it be legend or weapon skins.
Fortnite for example only has character skins with one slot, and if you already own one you like why bother getting other skins? if people actually had this mentality Fortnite wouldn't be the commercial success as it is.
Plus if they were worried about people that would no longer buy Apex Packs than why the hell would they even implement Heirloom Shards?
They could do this in many ways, you could have the option to choose to turn 1 Heirloom you received prior to System Override into Heirloom Shards for one time only and only have the option for 7 Days.
I know there is a lot of toxic players who demand free stuff constantly but almost everyone who got Heirlooms right before System Override are supportive players.
