Add effect for Deaf/H&H people to play at same level with other hearing people

I love this game so much but I don't feel Apex is providing equal accessibility for everyone. There are many new battle royale games but none of them are friendly for Deaf/ Hard of Hearing players. Fortnite is the only implemented visual effect game that is accessible for Deaf/Hard of Hearing players. This effect allows Deaf/Hard of hearing players to be able to know where her/his enemy is at. Fortnite even has a setting where you can turn on the visual effect. Turning on this effect will turn off the game’s sound effect. So, I myself am deaf and desire to play this game with full accessibility, by doing this, Deaf/Hard of Hearing gamers and I will be able to enjoy more experiences while playing this game. It really would be great if you could these add visual effects for us. One last thing I would like to add is, an having some type of effect occur when playing, if injured have some sensory show where my enemy is so I can heal/revive, etc. often I get shot in the back of the head while hiding and I’m unaware because I don’t know where the enemy is. The hearing gamer can hear where I am, but being a Deaf person, I don’t have this advantage. Please consider this.

Thank you

  • There are hit indicators that relay where you have been shot from. Traditionally other shooter games have a 2D indicator that is a section of a large circle around the center of the screen that highlights where you were shot from. Apex takes this a step further and implements a 3D version of this that almost aims where you were shot from.

Of course this information is relayed only if you are actually hit. As a person who cannot hear on my right side i somewhat understand what its like to have a loss of hearing adversely affect your play, but there is only so much that can be done for people like us because any steps taken to help us indirectly will benefit everyone else.
