Add Function To Keep Blocked People Out Of Party

I'm having the issue where I'd block someone either because they're toxic, simply rude, or some other reason like sabotaging the gameplay. Yet, these players still randomly get matchmaked onto my team. Some of which are Console/Steam users that the game flat out doesn't even give me an OPTION to block, so if I block their Origin friend, they get tagged along for the ride and bring in the Origin friend.

I just wanna play games, not deal with countless and countless 3 year olds who cannot say anything nice.

@pandareno1999 It doesn't happen all the time, and I've only had at least 7 occurances where they got matchmaked.

My only theory is that the game matchmakes me with their teammate - one who isn't blocked, and since they're squadded together, it matchmakes me with the blocked person. Or the 3rd is a random, that just got paired with the both of us.

Whatever the issue is - if you're blocked, you're not suppose to be put back onto the player's team.

The weird thing about it as well, was this player was
on Origin (same name as Origin), and their friend was a console player. What's weird? I couldn't block the console player after both were toxic. Yet, when I got matched with them again, suddenly there was an option to block the player.

That last bit actually doesn't sound that odd.  Some reporting functionalities were recently added to the game.

@pandareno1999 I just got yet ANOTHER blocked player on my team because the game matchmaked me with their console squadmate. If I blocked someone, I don't wanna play with them AT ALL.
  • @Midnight9746 Unfortunately, that is NOT how Block functions. If Blocking someone prevented you from queuing with them, it would be exploited. It would mean that your would be able to override matchmaking, and essentially hand-pick your teammates, by blocking everyone else on your server. This would be game breaking and TERRIBLE!

@TheGhostOfKievHonestly, don't care. I don't wanna see these players on my team at all.

There's thosands of players playing the game, they can afford having people blocked from ques.

Also by your logic of "it could be abused", there's several things that got abused and most of them aren't even fixed... such as audio, spitfire, matchmaking, (if cheating) getting into pred with bronze, (if cheating) DDOSing, (if cheating) getting into streamer's games and holding their games hostage, Lifeline's reviving in Arenas, etc.

There's nothing really "abusive" about it either, like why do I want these teammates? Why? I really don't. This was in Arenas and the enemy team were all PREDS. If they don't wanna fix their matchmaking, then I'd rather "filter" it.

*starts another match* - these two are different players

The game after this, I suddenly had higher level teammates, and the enemy team were all low levels. They were level 11, 14, and 5. This isn't "matchmaking" or "SBMM" when my teammates were 500+

@TheGhostOfKiev So, you're saying that if a player sabotaged your game, and caused you to lose a lot of ranked points, they get to rejoin your team and do it all over again? Doesn't quite make much sense, now does it.
  • @Midnight9746 Then only play in premade squads. Join a Club. Find some people that you like to play with. Or play solo, and completely ignore that you even have teammates. It's just that simple.
