I get that this game is all about playing off each characters strengths, but the fact that 95% of the people ive played with dont use mics, and the fact that i have a job (which most people on PC do)...

No, 3 members team is a very good idea. But gamers have to learn, what is "TEAM PLAY" exactly. I played many matches in the Apex Legends where people behaved as solo players. They didn't care about teammates. Another case was that players acted as absolute newbies in the Battle Royale game style, where is absolutely top priority SILENT on the start of the game.
It's not game for "I hate social interaction" players. We all have to learn how to interact with other teammates and take care of each other :-).
