No matter how much we talk about this issue, unfortunately, respawn is doing a great injustice. The aim assist should definitely be removed from this game. This is officially a cheat.
You'll probably look at the picture and say there's nothing wrong with that. No, there is. He knocked me down in seconds before I even fired. This screenshot screams "I'm cheating!".
Current pro league top qualified teams MNK users: 74. Controller: 48.
Old Topic, but honestly think it needs to get some attention...
Take it from someone who's been playing online shooter games for over the last 20 years, we talking Pre-Quake/Wolfenstein etc.
Console users feel that PC users have a big advantage with the precision aiming from the mouse, i get that.. but the fact is if they spendt the same amount of money on a PC insted of Console they could be doing the same.
I've played most of my shooters on PC, I do have Xbox and controller and I've seen first hand how much of a difference that aim-"assist" really makes..
PC will not tolerate any new players, cause it actually requires the player to have some aiming skills..
Console tolerates even the biggest first time newbie to hold down a fire button and hit almost all their bullets on targets with the tracking..
Terms of Service on ALL pc games state "any hacking, cheating, glitching, exploiting, or use of 3rd party program to help in any way to assist your aiming will get you banned"
but..
it actually breaks the TOS, but its still allowed cause they made their own aim"bot/assist".. so EA / Riot / Epic and all the other company's that make a buildt in aimassist is actually breaking their own Terms of Service.
And now with Ranked games coming out for WZ 2.0 etc. your mixing the platforms... and the ranking will never actually be correct for how good people really are..
simple suggestions and hopefully someone at EA has the brain to see the value and logic.
1) Make ranked games on the different platforms, dont mix and match Pc with Aimbot users since its a voilation of your own terms of service.
2) Completely remove ANY aim-assist/bot, if the console user decides to play cross-platform.
3) Give people the option to remove cross-platform
Sadly, they dont have the balls to remove the cross-platform cause the reason its there is to reduce queue times so people dont have to wait, but whats better alittle longer queue times or loosing players getting annoyed of Cheating that isnt being done anything about..

Aim-Assist is just a fancy word for Aimbot, and is actually cheating in any FPS game.
EA cant anger the console players because they pay much so no way to nerf the aim assist . it is even much annoying now
Aim assist on PC is just as bad why do you think 92% of people are on controller on PC now. Why do you think all the top pros swapped to controller after thousands of hours on MNK. So you can think it is people having an opinion aim assist is too much but it is actually a fact. thousands of hours on MNK=worse aim up close than hundred hours on controller with a 40% aim assist on PC. All top predators all ALGS teams swapped to almost total controllers. Server statistic show that the top 100 MNK players have 47% accuracy, the 50th percentile controller players aka garbage have 46% accuracy. Top 100 controller players have 56% accuracy. So someone with thousands of hours will achieve 47% accuracy in game on MNK. A casual grandpa that plays 10 hours a month will have 46% on controller. Watch a video where a top predator as a challenge turns off his aim assist. He gets trashed the entire match never won once and was yelling everyone is garbage.
