North America Ranked Lobbies at Platinum and above have become 80% controller dominant, this has been an issue for over a year now, and it is getting worse. When we look at ALGS, the kill leaders are using controller, with 8 of the top NA 10 leaders of ALGS as a whole on a single input.
EA has verified data on this, but OverWolf data confirms this as well, that controllers are statistically superior at shooting, in a first person shooter.
This, coupled with visual clutter bushes, trees, and grass which obscures mouse and keyboard users, has created not just an environment where mouse users are at a dramatic disadvantage but is creating an environment where we as players cannot even get squads as controller players actually do not want to play with us on PC as they know it is an inferior input. What is also widely known is that aim assist works directly through caustic gas, and will even operate through Bangalore's smoke if the smoke does not encase either player (documented here: https://twitter.com/JaysLogic_/status/1553005844052189187 and also here https://twitter.com/PVPX_/status/1599620761039536129 ). Once again, on PC in ranked, the top three leaders are all using a single input. As more console players switch to PC for improved framerates and aim assist which does not pull so aggressively on knocked players (but still enough to 210 someone with a blue R-99) - this imbalance has gotten entirely out of hand and is a primary reason why 16 pro mouse and keyboard players have been terminated from their org, and multiple MNK pro players have switched to controller (including ImperialHal / Frex / Reptar) - while even In Game Leads (IGLS) of LG was fired and replaced with a controller player, of which LG is now entirely composed of controller players, while 100 Thieves was the last remaining MNK team, and was dissolved just last month for poor performance.
I am looking for an honest update from an EA community or staff member as to why they have not yet addressed this issue in any regard when it has been presented to them clearly publicly, and has been a widely known data point internally for over two years now.

I think the most important aspect of the Aim Assist is its ability to provide accurate tracking fire even with muzzle flash and poor visibility. The horizontal Aim Assist is especially powerful. I am a MnK player and I can hardly win in close combat against a roller. I don't think that completely eliminating the assist is a good suggestion, so I suggest the following.
Reduce or eliminate horizontal aim assist.---
