All we get is lies from the developers about lobby balancing

No doubt, Respawn has made their fair share of cold and calculated poor decisions during the seven years of this game...

But I'm genuinely puzzled as to how anyone can be delusional enough to think that EA is in any way the "good guy" in this scenario. EA has pillaged Apex for BILLIONS of dollars while doling out a pittance to Respawn to maintain the game, continually refusing to allow the developer to develop anything other than new skins, legends, weapons, and the odd new map here and there. Compared to any other live service game it's pretty sad. And it isn't because of Respawn. EA is probably as close to a real mustache-twisting villain as you're likely to find in our post-industrial economic wasteland where Wall Street is any company's real customer. You and I? They view us with anything from mild disdain to outright contempt depending on the time of day and day of the week.

So if you're looking for someone to blame over the phonebook's worth of mishandled game features and design decisions, you should really be looking at EA. That's Andrew Wilson and, now, MBS, the crown prince of Saudi Arabia - EA's new owner. Never buy another EA game again, and if it's f2p title like Apex, play away but don't buy anything in the store. That's just giving money to people who have lost all perspective on the value of your dollar. If they ever had any to begin with. Which, come to think of it, I seriously doubt.
