Feedback on Diamond+ Solo Q Matchmaking Test - Amazing Change!

EU / NAE on daily basis contain at least 3 cheating squads per EACH FREAKING GAME starting from P2, not to mention D4.

Preds clearly still get fed lower ranks by matchamaking - Zeus on youtube reported on that with clear proof but I mean you can just pop into any streamer's live who does not hide the bar :D and see yourself.

Today grinded like crazy to finally reach D4 - yesterday in P1 was nightmare, played like 20 games in EU and NAE, barely made break-even, day before that (no soloq testing and stuff) made 700! RP in soloq EU as P1, today as D4 got into Pred lobbies twice already, full of cheaters and people even broke a system and clearly duo/tristack in Diamond lobbies:

im multiple masters currently on a a gain streak went from d4 to d2 in 2 days. So i mean im having a blast and yes there are cheaters but i love this system and i said it myself the matchmaking with preds matching with other preds is **bleep** but its a step in the right direction.

I have a positive view of the Solo Q-only matchmaking test. While I acknowledge that many challenges remain, the current environment—where solo players are not paired with duos and do not face full-party stacks—has significantly reduced the mental strain on solo players.

Regarding rule violations, these have been an ongoing issue long before the test. It is far too early to conclude that this test has caused an increase in their frequency. In fact, some have pointed out on social media that preventing party play may positively impact the scene by hindering boosting services.

Full-party squads have historically contributed to the efficiency of matchmaking systems. It is unfortunate that they are now bearing the brunt of these structural improvements.

I have also seen various opinions on social media regarding whether 'the test has become an end in itself.' Since there are many different perspectives on this test, I intend to observe how the situation develops now.

Until then all I can say:

1. EBMM is exactly what so far I have experienced (don't care about ranked already for like 5+ seasons, just using it as basically only objective ... sort of ... reference when talking about ranked
2. people like you (potentially) are victims of EBMM = when you winning it is all good, as soon as you don't it is all bad, in the meantime you ignore many other more important issues. Like oh wow I made it from D4 to D2 great, cheaters are not a big issue, and let's totally ignore the fact that some people actually can team up past D4

Like why you praise something, that clearly is not implemented well? Just because you ranked up = change is good?
Like to be matchmaked now vs Preds who get Pred teammates while you as D2 get probably still plats time to time?

Idk if you ask me I prefer to lose vs Preds and cheaters with my 3stack vs this circus where cheaters keep cheating, Preds keep getting basically as good teammates as before and Plats / legit Diamonds suffer.

Soloq players are not matched with duos -> totally questionable argument given how anti-cooperative Apex community is. I probably same as you and many others have seen those duos that go by the "we are two , you are one, you do what we say" or worse. At the same time for years  people have basically said the same about solo teammates and I would agree that they equally bad as now you need to "find" teamwork between 2 totally uninterested players vs at worst follow duo who actually at least stick together.

Full-party squads have historically contributed to the efficiency of matchmaking systems -> not sure what you on about there, it has been basically forever that overall easiest lobbies you get is when you duo-stack (god knows why, because Respawn clearly has not clue), thus the number of duostacks, hell last week one dude started posting this openly in Apex LFG (that he is looking for just 1 teammate not 2 not to get to top skill lobbies).
Then went soloq lobbies and if you 3stack you actually got punished getting into "above your head" lobbies.
Matchmaking was questionable and then feeding to Pred adjustment came around (season 20 or 24 was it) which made system a joke, bad one.
So maybe you can clarify what do you mean by your statement.

Basically so far my conclusion is:

• people who don't even try to teamwork aka soloqers keep doing what they are doing = breaking the game that suppose to be a team game
• people who did have intention to teamwork / teams now suffer the most (given above said)
• people who abuse the system continue to do so - cheating and still somehow getting into 3stacks above D4
• matchmaking is still feeding low level to Preds

I will clinch my teeth and give it a go just out of curiosity until this weekend but after that I am 90% sure I will quit Apex for the 4th time in past 2 years because Respawn just makes this joke unbearable. Before it was tech issues now it is less of those but more of intentional EBMM and joke of a matchmaking. Rather will go play Valorant vs Smurfs but at least teams even with smurfs on are overall more balanced there.

It’s not that bad, brother, haha. And yes, I play on console, so I get the worst of the worst in terms of cheating. I would love to see this fully implemented. I solo queue to masters whenever I feel like it. Right now, knowing there’s a good chance a pred team isn’t a 3-stacking cheating pred team makes it much easier for me to enjoy the game again. In my honest opinion, the game feels like it’s going in the right direction. I don’t know if you’ve even read my posts, but I have emphasized cheaters and stuff, lol. and in the nicest way a d4 would probably think every pred is a cheater i've played on pc, grinded ranked on it ive seen the preds yall got and its heaven compared to what we go through.

i doubt a d4 can kill anyone "that fast" haha
