allow disabling of yourself being spectated

i think people are ragequitting on wildcard because they dont know whats been going on from their teammates perspective and when they die and spectate a teammate they start wondering why the team member wasn't closer to them to back them up or didn't do this or do that. I could be wrong and maybe they're just ragequitting for typical reasons but i suspect it is them putting their own incorrect interpretations on me when they die and automatically spectate me without knowing what's been going on around me the past minute. I suspect this because a lot of people on the other mode, battle royale, blame me when they die so i know a lot of people just dont like to take personal responsibility and need to blame their teammates.

  • You're right. In this game people get themselves killed regularly in the most predictable and avoidable ways... and they will curse you, their teammate, with their dying breath because nothing that happens to them is ever their own fault. It's yours. And I'm somehow doubting that in a moment that heated you can change their perspective with spectate or killcam. You can't. You may as well have shot them in the face with your own gun. And then they quit. And don't think for a minute that this is just a Wildcard thing. It isn't. It's maybe a little more frustrating for you since you're in a mode with fast and free respawns, but it's no different in trios or bots. The one place in the game that actively penalizes quitters - ranked - still has people ragequitting. Not as many, but way more than I would have thought.
