@ken6ji To me, the bad team mate when it comes to "breaking off" is the one that pings "I'm going over there" at the first second of the possible drop time, then solo jumps into a hotspot, dies and leaves.
That person should solo no fill, in another game, on another planet, without air...also in with a nuke going off next to them just to be sure...
But jokes aside, I often break of and urge my team mates to do the same so we do not land at a single bin with no loot only to get in a fist vs. gun fight.
Having diferent loot paths is WAY better than just being there for moral support or what ever you can offer. These people seldom look where they are going, much less where the team or rest of the lobby is either. Don't blame yourself for a millisecond for thinking, way to little of that in the world as is.

This thread got me thinking I was right in trying to stay safe by avoiding hot spots even though my team goes otherwise.
Dont get me wrong, there are times I dont care, but some times I just want to play for more than a minute.
There is so much map to explore, after all... :]
