@Professor_Doggy He's a scientist with a little bit of a superiority complex if you ask me, poor guy wasn't allowed to do his harmless research in peace and now he's forced into hiding and has to experiment on a handful of weirdos instead. I mean, would've it been the end of the world to just give him a few hippies to experiment on? Imagine the implications of his gas if he was allowed to further advance it in a controlled environment. It's always the good guys getting punished 😭
I have been using Caustic as my main lately, and I have to say that I am not a fan of his whole persona and his quips. I would have to put him in the same category as Octane and Bangalore for the most annoying characters in game.
I think it would be cool to see some changes to customizing a character's persona, since we have to listen to them talk all game, lol.
These are some of my thoughts for change:
- Add a 2nd set of quips that gives off a slightly different vibe from their default quips
- Ability to select which quips your character does and doesn't say
- Ability to adjust volume of your own character vs. the volume of your allies.
@IAmTheMeddleryes yes and yes. The worst Caustic jibe is when he says, "The rabbit's cries brings the wolves." I actually said aloud to my screen "Oh F--- off" the first time I heard it. It doesn't help that he said after boxing me.
I kinda like the comedic characters and dialogue better. Crypto needs an upgrade too, he takes himself a little too seriously.
Caustic is a villain. I think he has excellent dialogue for a villain.
