Apex crashes to desktop without errors and won't let me join back

Ever since the start of this season I've had random crashes as I've started games, all of which booted me straight to desktop with no errors whatsoever. On top of that, recently it started giving my friends who I'm queued up with a random other teammate, preventing me from joining them again and thus giving me a leaving penalty.

My drivers are all up to date, and the only things I have open whenever I'm playing are Steam and Discord, since I play through Steam and communicate with my friends through Discord.

All of this happens randomly, no matter what mode or map the game is trying to load, though the leaving penalty thus far has only happened in non-BR modes.

If the devs don't want us to play this season just save us the time and tell us directly.
