apex cross play recording audio for PS4 not working

So anytime I try and record my gameplay and audio with me (a ps4 user) and my friends (both Xbox users) and I want to get the funny stuff we say it's only recording my audio and not their voices as well, it's confusing because we can't figure out why when we talk in-game its not picking up their voices at all in my recordings. I am using the PlayStation recording feature to record my gameplay and it should be recording their voices as well but it's not. Please help. Thank you.
