Apex Legends - Please Read

I know multiple people are complaining about trashy servers and stuff like that, but honestly... most of the issues are brought on us with bad computers and wifi.

I litterally gotten a new computer recently that is way more compatible with the game and my Wifi is good enough to experience no lag. The only time I experience bad connections is when someone is on my wifi kirbing it - yes "kirbying" as in the pink ball of god knows what inhaling air or when the servers aren't reachable due to a storm. Had one recently where I was only able to reach London instead of a much closer server.

At least for me, the server center is within my state, but what I'm trying to say is that the connection issues and lag - it's more than likely the player's issue. Also on this new computer, I don't crash, lag, freeze, etc. so definitely get a new system if this sounds like your issue. (I also don't have the graphics card issue but i don't know if it's because my card isn't "latest" or not).

I'd admit the game is still broken with shots going through doors and around corners, grenades hitting when they shouldn't, and all the hackers out there... but hey the game is still mostly fun.

Other issues like code leaf/net/etc. I don't have them on my new system, so definitely upgrade your computers or buy new ones.

Issues like hackers, solo droppers, and stuff like that are mostly the player's ruining the game experience, so don't exactly get mad at the developers for it.

The purpose of this post is to say one thing - get better Wi-Fi and computer because most likely, your issues isn't EA/Respawns fault.

I used to believe that the servers were trashed, then when I got my new computer, i realized how wrong I really was.

  • @Midnight9746  Main problem here is netcode, and also trash servers. For Apex, you actually want bad laggy connection cos it cause you to move unpredictably and do double damage. Good connection is curse.

  • @Midnight9746  no most of the issues are brought by servers and bugs in this game, there is little to none upgrades available for the computer I am playing on and this game is pissing me off with bugs, frame drops, code craps and full * mode random crashes

  • @Midnight9746 I use xbox but agree.

I do have some friends who get that darn netcode error but they play on a much lower connection speed than I.

Server issues seem to only happen on xbox from players who rely to much on low internet speeds and forget to take into account that once someone jumps on the same network (phone, stream, TV) that speed drops down fast causing error codes to show up or get booted from lobby's.

I myself have been kicked out of 1-2 games in my whole Apex experience and that was due to poor connection because of a storm that was going on.

If you doubt this, try upping your speeds and see if that has better results.
  • First off congrats on a new computer.

To address your statement in it's entirety I quit playing Apex a month ago because of the drops and poor server quality. Now let me explain how I can claim server, I play on PS4 have an excellent wired router connection with 400 down and 100-125 up speeds. Average on apex was 46-55ms ping on the best "server" near me. This is NOT a hardware issue. You buying a new computer probably has helped you out and from what I read they have finally and I mean finally addressed the code leaf net errors. Some of us had been dealing with it since March.

I run my work computer off of the same network I game on and my VPN and internal settings are a second language to me. I had worked with tech support from mid March until April when I finally gave up on adjusting anymore settings as there was no improvement and everyone at EA/Re-spawn swore it was an issue on my end.

I am not here to bash your idea of a new computer might help some people, but it cannot be taken as a blanket statement that it is fixing the problem. As I said the dc's existed for almost 6 months prior to any fix being rolled out. I hope people are getting smoother games but judging by the recent laggy players who cannot be hit, I am assuming they fixed one problem and created another.

Good luck to you all and I hope you guys get to enjoy the game.

On a side not MW had beta this weekend and ran smooth as butter from my end. It was nice and the game seems to be a pretty decent run on a franchise staple.
