First off congrats on a new computer.
To address your statement in it's entirety I quit playing Apex a month ago because of the drops and poor server quality. Now let me explain how I can claim server, I play on PS4 have an excellent wired router connection with 400 down and 100-125 up speeds. Average on apex was 46-55ms ping on the best "server" near me. This is NOT a hardware issue. You buying a new computer probably has helped you out and from what I read they have finally and I mean finally addressed the code leaf net errors. Some of us had been dealing with it since March.
I run my work computer off of the same network I game on and my VPN and internal settings are a second language to me. I had worked with tech support from mid March until April when I finally gave up on adjusting anymore settings as there was no improvement and everyone at EA/Re-spawn swore it was an issue on my end.
I am not here to bash your idea of a new computer might help some people, but it cannot be taken as a blanket statement that it is fixing the problem. As I said the dc's existed for almost 6 months prior to any fix being rolled out. I hope people are getting smoother games but judging by the recent laggy players who cannot be hit, I am assuming they fixed one problem and created another.
Good luck to you all and I hope you guys get to enjoy the game.
On a side not MW had beta this weekend and ran smooth as butter from my end. It was nice and the game seems to be a pretty decent run on a franchise staple.
