Apex Legends Consoles Body Strafing While Looting Deathboxes

Sorry if this has been mentioned before.

i have a suggestion about the Console Version of Apex Legends regarding deathboxes.

On PC, Players can strafe left and right while looting deathboxes. On Console this is absolutely impossible currently, due to the control configurations where the left stick is the one that controls the Cursor while looting, right stick scrolls up and down the deatbox menu, leaving the Console player extremely vulnerable while looting deathboxes especially when tactically switching EVO shields during a fight.

However, this can be fixed by the following suggested configuration:

Right Stick : Controls the cursor while on the deathbox menu

Left Stick: Able to freely strafe the Body or the "3D Model" of the Character that the player is using while on the deathbox loot menu

R2 or Right Trigger : confirms to take the loot from the deathbox

L2 or Left Trigger : Cancels or leaves the menu of the death box

R1 or RB : Scrolls up the the deathbox loot menu

L1 or LB : Scrolls down the deathbox loot menu

this way we spread out the crucial controls while on the deathbox menu. it will be less simplified, but you will have the ability to strafe left and right while on the menus on the Console Version. it will be confusing at first but it will take a while to readjust our muscle memory into this control scheme.

i'd appreciate it if the team would at least hear this one out.

i think that the "left and right thumbs" on console controls are extremely over allocated, 1.) it has to move the cursor on the menu 2.) it is responsible for scrolling up or down in the deathbox menu 3.) it has to confirm the loot 4.) it is also responsible for exiting out of the death box menu. i believe that this is extremely inefficient because there are wasted muscles or fingers that are available to be assigned of each of these commands such as the pointing and the middle finger.

whereas on PC, players can pretty much use all of their TEN fingers.

there is a little bit of unfairness going on here, maybe favoritism?😉
